SF 09

I’m on a west coast road trip from San Francisco to Seattle between now and March. Have been in SF the past few, beautiful and mid-60 degree days. and Ahhhh, it is so glorious and paradise like for me to be in this city. It has always made sense here in my home far away from home. there is just beauty wherever you look, by accident and purposefully crafted by so many proud communities of people. i’ll try and keep good document of sights along my travels north on highway 101. look out your mailboxes, babies

Some Where Else (zine)

Some Where Else, or otherwise subtitled Wherever Elsewhere, is thirty pages of American landscape and aerial photography collages and drawing. Blended with crayon and pencil rubbings done from a mailbox in a tiny downtown Brooklyn apartment, it is an entirely visual zine about a longing for wide open spaces, jagged organic patterns, and textural topography.  B/W photocopy, 30pgs, Series of 44.

what’s new is old

What’s old…again. I had a Mac G4 circa 2004-5. I don’t recommend it. Lost everything I ever did on it except that what was backed up by email. Found these today and am glad I did. They were previously lost. Xmas me an external hard drive? Got one.

This happened while on vacation…

My sister, Penny, was feeling down so I took her to the local college legal wall to paint silver stompers.

Says Penny, “The photos are great!  I think I might put them on my screensaver at work.  It’ll be like pictures of fish, pictures of fish, pictures of cat, pictures of Penny spray painting wall, pictures of fish, pictures of fish”
